1) In your journal, think back to your work placement and answer the following questions:
List at least 5 duties you performed regularly.

List 2 positive experiences from your work placement.
I got to play with babies
I got to learn more about becoming an ECE.

List 2 challenges from you work placement.
one of the challenges was moving room to room and remembering names.
another challenge was probably getting to attached.
List 2 strengths as a worker and 2 weakness.
a strength would have been, being able to tend to children's needs.
a strength would have been, being able to stay calm in stressful situations, such as when a child was historically crying and screaming and one of my tasks was to calm the child.
List 2 things you learned from your work placement.
I learned that some children have grants, a grant is someone who is dedicated to that specific child and helps them. they usually have a special need or a temperament disorder.
another thing I learned was that it is hard to say goodbye to a child who is either "pulled out" of daycare or their time is done.. while being at the daycare 5-6 children have been pulled from the daycare due to moving.. its quite sad especially when you get close to those children.
